Luke is estimated to be 1 to 1 1/2 years old, weighs 52 lbs, is mostly Pit Bull Terrier with a splash of something else...possibly boxer. His temperament is absolutely wonderful, though he does experience a little separation anxiety. He is getting crate trained, gets along great with other dogs and cats, is learning his commands and appears to be house trained, as well. There is nothing aggressive about his temperament; he is not food aggressive and loves to be around people and loves children. He is very mellow, not hyper, and wants to stay right by his foster mom's side all the time. Luke rides great in the car and has probably had a sofa to lie on in his past life. He's not sure what to do with a tennis ball, but is learning what "chase" is (his new doggy friend Gracie is teaching him!).
Luke is heartworm positive and is currently being treated.
