Hi there, I'm Shelly, a sweet mature Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Some parts of my life have been a bit rough, but I live with a nice family right now, anyhow. The thing is, they have young, active children, and there's something about loud shrieking (even if it's all just playful) that really frightens me. I just don't know what to do--I want to get away from those loud noises however I can. My humans who love me are really concerned that I might manage to escape from the yard sometime when I'm panicked like that, and something bad might happen. They think maybe I'd be much happier in a calm, mellow adult household, where there's not so much exuberance. I'm spayed, about 10 years old, weigh 40 lbs, am on heartworm prevention, and you can tell from my photos that I'm a cutie. I know 'sit', 'come', and 'fetch', and of course I am housetrained. Do you have a place in your heart for a nice girl like me? I just want to be loved and safe.
