Rosie is a five year old purebred Treeing Walker Coonhound spayed vaccinated and microchipped.
Rosie spent her first four years in a small kennel suffering neglect and abuse. When her “owner” decided he didn’t want her anymore he was preparing to shoot her.
That’s when a kind women stepped up and rescued her. Sadly she died suddenly in just a few months and Rosie was adopted by her daughter. The daughter has now been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and is in the hospital.
We stepped in and rescued her. This is what her foster mother says about her “ She lives to give kisses!! Loves to cuddle, sleep up by our heads with her own pillow. She is as sweet as they come. She has decided treats are sooooooo yummy!! She shows no interest in the horse and chicken or guinea pig. “
Because of her past abuse she is terribly shy at first and has separation anxiety so needs someone patient kind and home most of the time. Someone who would enjoy a 55 lb lapdog with a fine hound howl at times.
