Hello, I'm Lucy, a mature female redbone hound. My official hunting days are in the past. I very much prefer the relaxed assignment of full-time pal now; I'm a great couch-potato! However, I still have plenty of get-up-and-go for my daily walk, and hound that I am, if I pick up an interesting scent, I will still follow it for miles if I get a chance; my new family will need to be sure to walk me on a leash. I really enjoy going for a ride in the car, I'm not much of a barker, and my foster parents say that I have been very calm and easy to train. I am happy to spend time in a crate when needed, and I have done very well meeting new people and being in a variety of situations. I am spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, housetrained, and ready to be your new best friend. I do need a cat-free home, please.
