I'm Spur, a handsome fluffy Border Collie. I was abandoned under very weird circumstances--someone took me to an RV park, chained me to a tree, and even left my dilapidated dog house there next to me. It seems like I may have spent most of my life just chained up--that's no life for an active dog! But I am quite an escape artist, so I will probably need to have a home with electronic fencing or live indoors and ALWAYS be leashed and accompanied when I am outdoors. Thanks to SNIPPP I am now neutered, heart worm neg, microchipped, current on shots and ready to go to a new home. I am friendly with other dogs and I LOVE to be petted! I might be a little shy at first, and I'm not enthusiastic about having my picture taken. I've had little or no training, but my foster family is helping me to learn some doggie manners. Please give me a chance to learn what it's like to be a loved member of your family.
