UPDATE 5/18/14: Shelly was returned from her new adoptive home. It just did not work out. Her foster parents do not want to send her out again so Shelly will live with her foster parents, furever. She loves the other dogs at her foster home and really enjoys life on the farm. Even though her foster parents did not need another dog Shelly will be warmly welcomed.
UPDATE 5/14/14: Shelly is at a new home while we wait to see if her adoption will work out.
Shelly was living wild in the woods behind Rocky Ledge Shell Station for many months. She had many concerned people leaving food and bedding in the woods for her. We finally caught her, she has had all her shots and been spayed. She is sweet and friendly when she gets to know you but is timid around strangers. Shelly will need a patient home that understands that she is shy. Shelly LOVES other dogs so she should go to a home with another friendly dog to play with. She plays like a puppy. She is house trained and a good dog. Shelly is ready now to go to a forever home.
