Hi, I'm Rosie, a mature female Newfoundland Dog mix. I'm spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. I just recently had my teeth cleaned, too. I'm housetrained, happy and friendly, and already know basic obedience skills. I seem to get along well with most other dogs. I'm probably best with other large dogs, but I would LOVE to be the only pet and get your undivided affection! 'Cuddlebug' is my nickname. I haven't shown any interest in the chickens or horses at my foster home, and I ride nicely in the car.
I came to SNIPPP when my owner got sick and could no longer care for me. My coat was very matted, so the way my fur looks in my photos isn't the way it usually is--I have longer hair than what you see. And check out my expressive ears; I can put them up, down back, forward, you name it!
I've been allowed to eat too much with no supervision of my food intake, so I really do need to shed a few more pounds! I'm already getting some nice walks in at my foster home, and the results are starting to show. I just need a human friend who will keep that up--are you thinking of the same thing in your own life? Maybe we should get together for a meet-and-greet.
