I'm Girlie and I desperately need your help!  My owner died, so I need to find a new home QUICK.  there are lots of dogs where I live--too many dogs.  We have all been chained up; we've lived our whole lives outside, at the end of a chain.  Right now we don't know any other life, but I know I'd like the chance to make a change!  Sleeping on a soft bed, having a dog house, and someone to pet me, brush me, and treat me special would be such great things.  I am VERY shy, so I know I'll take awhile to adjust to having a lot of human contact--especially with someone I don't even know yet--but could you please be a HERO and save me?  I hope someone will think I deserve a better life than what I've has so far.  Your love could make a world of difference to me! 

10/18/09 Update: Girlie and most of the other dogs from this situation have tested POSITIVE for heartworm and are undergoing treatment.  When they are heartworm free, SNIPPP will have each dog evaluated for spaying/neutering.  These dogs still need loving permanent homes.  Please call Suzanne at 530 335-2192 if you can give Girlie or her friends a chance!
