Hello, I'm K.D., a loving girl who wants to give you kisses and be a 68-pound lap dog! I've had quite a life--my original owner was killed by a hit and run driver, so I went to the shelter for awhile. They found out I had heartworm, so I got treated for that (it's no fun!) I got adopted by some people who live in the country, but they don't have a fenced yard, and there are cows and deer out here--do you have any idea how much FUN it is to chase those animals? Well, they tell me I could get in real big trouble doing that, so I need to find a home with a fenced yard. I get along fine with other dogs. I like my squeaky toys, too! I am microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm prevention, so I am "good to go" if you are ready to add a sweet girl to your family!
12/8/09 Update: K.D. needs to have surgery to repair a torn cruciate ligament, so she will need to spend some time recovering before she is ready to be adopted. If you would lik to donate to help pay for her expensive surgery, please consider sponsoring this wonderful girl!
