Hi, I'm Cisco--I'm sort of a shy and quiet boy, but once I get to know you I am very sweet. I am good with other dogs. Once upon a time I was used to work cattle, but I feel like I'm probably too old to do ranch work anymore. I'd just like to take it easy and be someone's cherished pet--I'm ready to be retired. At the ranch where I lived, the man died and all of us dogs who were chained up went for a long time without any food or water--I'm one of the few who survived. Won't you help an old fellow like me enjoy the rest of my life in a comfortable, loving home? I'd be so grateful if you'd take me in and love me. Note: I haven't spent any time around little kids, and being a herding dog, I might be inclined to think the little critters needed to be "rounded up"--so it is not known whether I would be good with small children.
