We are so happy to let you know that Lacey has been adopted!
Well, I see that they called me a Sheltie, but the truth is I'm just the cutest multi-colored mutt that you could ever hope to meet. I'm called Lacey because I'm such a sweet, gentle, polite young gal. I'm so happy for any attention you give me, but I'm not the least bit pushy about it. My rescuers figure that I'm about 4 years old, and I'm very well-behaved--I don't bark a lot or make a fuss, and I know commands like sit, stay, and come. At 32 pounds, I'm just the right size. Being abandoned made me feel a bit down in the dumps for awhile, and I was also kind of fearful of men, but my foster family is encouraging me to play and try to be a little more carefree. I've been micro chipped and checked for heart worm; I'm on preventative and I am good to go--I'm just waiting for that special someone to come along. You do need to know that I can chase a squirrel like a real expert--so I MAY not be good in a family with small furry pets--we'll just need to check on that. I get along great with other dogs, though, and I love people of all sizes.
