I'm Honey, a beautiful, very timid girl about 2 years old who was found deep in the woods with no collar, but some very damaged skin around my neck where a collar used to be. I'm used to my foster family now; but if you're thinking about adopting me, please be willing to give me time to get used to your family and to gain confidence in a new situation. I'm a little skittish around some men, so SNIPPP thinks I may have been abused in the past. I'm muscular and weigh about 35-40 pounds; I don't bark excessively, but golly, I'm a hound--so I do enjoy making some hound sounds! I'm interested in squirrels, but so far I think neighborhood cats are pretty boring. I get along fine with other dogs and LOVE to rough house with them. Although I'm not very confident in some situations, I walk calmly on a leash, LOVE to sniff around, and I'm fine with children. I'm heart worm negative and on preventative. I'm learning to let my foster mom know when I need to go out for a potty break. Interested adopters may contact Honey's foster home directly at (530) 336-6635.
