We are so happy to let you know that Katie has been adopted!
Katie is a beautiful, 6 month old female Golden Retriever/Lab mix who looks and acts like a Golden. She is very sweet, gentle, and non-aggressive around dogs and people...she is very friendly and playful. With appropriate training, Katie might make a wonderful assistance dog, as she is pleasant and eager to please. Her current owner is in the hospital, having had to have emergency surgery. He is unable to care for her. She has an appointment to get spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm tested and microchipped on Tuesday, November 12.
