Hello, I am Jessie, a senior Border Collie girl. I get along well with other dogs (as long as they don't try to steal my food) and I have lived around livestock, cats, and kids.  At first I am a little shy around strangers, but I warm up fairly quickly.  I am a beloved family pet, but my people are losing their home and have to move to someplace where they can't take me.  They are afraid that I am too old for anyone else to want me--I'm about 10 years old.  Please, won't you prove them wrong?  I am up-to-date on shots, housetrained, and well-behaved. I am equally at home lying down calmly in the house or on the porch, playing with the other dogs and kids, or joining you for a long walk. If you need me to have a check-up by a vet before I come to live with you, that can be arranged at no cost to you.
