Even though I got named Blackie, I'm not just your ordinary black dog. You might not be able to tell from my photos, but I have one brown eye and one beautiful blue eye! That's my Australian Shepherd heritage coming through. My former owner didn't have much time for me, but my foster family says I'm sweet, love attention, and I get along with other dogs. I'm just barely a year old, so I still act like a pup sometimes, but I know basic commands like sit, come, and heel. I'm not going to be a really big gal when I'm fullgrown--probably about 50 pounds at the most. Could I be part of your family? I'd love for you to love ME.
