"Little Bit" must have been a very little puppy when he got named, because now he's no little bit at all -- this is a big, handsome Black Lab/German Shepherd mix! Little Bit is living in foster care in the Santa Barbara area and is available for adoption through Central Coast Border Collie Rescue.
This big guy is a doll! He's tall -- like a shepherd in height -- and in good shape, about 80 lbs. He's smart, friendly, obedient -- housebroken, great in the car, good with other dogs, good with cats, good with kids -- just a nice boy. He even lets the old dog he came with, Rudy, lick his ears and mount him without a fuss! He's quiet around the house, but perky on a walk and great on a hike. And he's big enough to scare off anyone who might harbor ill intentions!
