Hello, I'm Lily, a sweet girl dog that SNIPPP rescued from the Shasta County Animal Shelter. I was found wandering the streets of Fall River Mills, and no one ever came looking for me. My foster mom is really nice to me; she is helping me learn to trust people again after someone treated me mean. She throws my ball for me and takes me to play in the creek--I love doing those things! I don't love riding in the car, but she is helping me learn how to do that, little by little. I am crate-trained and know some commands like 'sit' and 'leave it', and I walk nicely on a leash. I might enjoy living with someone who will take me jogging, because I have plenty of energy for that. Since I know I can't stay at my foster home forever, I'm just hoping for an understanding, gentle person who will be kind to me so I can continue to learn that humans are trustworthy and care about me. Is that too much to wish for?
