Jenny is an eight year old purebred chocolate Lab. We were told she was abused at a former home and was afraid of men; she appears to have mostly gotten over that. She gets along well with people and other dogs, although will probably chase cats if given an opportunity. We've been told she is excitable, but it seems like she calms down pretty well after a just a minute.
The people she has been with are busy and just don't have much time to pay attention to her. She doesn't get to spend much time in the house, so she might need a refresher course on house training. But with some quality attention from a calm, loving human, Jenny will be a great dog. She sometimes digs in the yard, but if she got to spend more time with people, she might get over that.
